Have you ever dreamed of having a career in health and wellness? Do you have a passion for learning about the latest and greatest in nutrition to improve your own health? If you answered yes to one or both questions, I have a great deal for you!
My school, the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, is hosting a Conference in one week, on Saturday 11/8 and they will be streaming the event LIVE! This is typically reserved for students and alumni of IIN, but I have a few invites for my friends so they can access portions of Saturday’s event, in the morning and afternoon (EST) via live stream. This conference includes hearing from thought leaders in the health and wellness world, like Nina Plank, William Davis, Joshua Rosenthal, and Venus Williams. Personally, I’m really excited to hear Venus talk; she has an amazing wellness journey as she battled her autoimmune disease through a plant-based diet; all while being in incredible athlete.
This will be a fun opportunity to learn more about the school’s amazing content and community – for free! Register via this link to reserve your spot and receive information on how and when to view the conference sessions.
I started cooking a few years before I began my Health Coaching journey with IIN, and that is really when my passion for health and wellness started. I have learned a few tips and tricks along the way (as well as making some mistakes, but hey, that is how I learned) to help make the cooking process easier, and I have grown very fond of a few key kitchen gadgets that really make a difference. As we approach the holiday season, I will be sharing my favorite cooking gadgets, many of which would make excellent holiday gifts for your friends and family, or even yourself. If you can help people cook more at home, you are helping to improve their health, and that is the best gift you can give! I feel pretty strongly about this which is why the following quote from writer and food advocate Michael Pollan resonates with me:
So stay tuned for my kitchen gadgets and consider adding them to your list for Santa.
Question for you: Do you have a favorite kitchen gadget? I’d love to feature it on my blog!
